The background of this painting took me forever. It is a small piece of curtain, on which I based my entire colour scheme of the master bedroom. Then when I washed the curtain, the fabric disintegrated. I have always wanted to repaint the fabric. The image is a combination of two poses which I liked better than the photo we send to our friends. How many cats did we have? I don’t miss the cats but I do miss the fabric.
