#341 COMFORT INN
2008 . oil on canvas . 18" x 24"
An underground parkade is a very common experience, a little scary, like a graveyard for vehicles. This one happens to be a hotel parkade in Toronto, but that doesn't matter. They are all similar. Who knows what lurks around the corner? The parkade structure is low, underlit and oppressive. Perhaps a car makes it seem a little safer, but is this a worthy human experience?
