I am a painter who uses my immediate surroundings as my subject matter, not unlike many painters in history. It can be home, children, friends, neighbourhood, the walk to my Gallery or the view from my car. I have always been interested in the minutia of a car experience and I think that is not uncommon. We probably have a greater variety of visual experiences from inside a car than any other type of activity.
